This month, Verizon announced that Back Market and Visible have developed a partnership. For a limited time, you can buy a refurbished phone from Back Market and get a discount on either of Visible’s cell phone plans.

In this article, I’ll take a closer look at Visible and Back Market’s new partnership including how you can save on a refurbished cell phone and service for the first year.

Visible + Back Market: Save on a Phone and Unlimited Service

Bringing your own unlocked phone to a new network is often the best way to save the most money. However, if your phone isn’t unlocked, or if it’s time to buy a new phone, you might be able to find a deal on a new device and cell phone service. For example, Visible (Team Clark’s Review) has partnered with Back Market to offer discounted unlimited plans with the purchase of any unlocked refurbished phone.

For a limited time, you can buy any unlocked refurbished phone from Back Market and receive an exclusive Visible promo code in your email. You can use the promo code to sign up for Visible and save $5/month on Visible’s basic unlimited plan or save $15/month on Visible+.

After you’ve purchased an unlocked phone from Back Market, you’ll receive a confirmation email. The email will also contain an exclusive Visible promo code and a link to sign up for service.

You can choose Visible’s basic unlimited plan (typically $25/month) or Visible+ (typically $45/month) and you’ll see your discount applied during checkout beginning your first month of service. 

With the Back Market promo code, the Visible plan will drop to $20/month (save $5) and the Visible+ plan will drop to $30/month (save $15). The discount will apply every month for 12 consecutive months, or until your service is cancelled. If you stay with Visible for a full year, you’ll save $60 on the Visible plan or $180 on the Visible+ plan total with this deal!

Visible is a prepaid wireless provider; you can cancel your service at any time. After 12 months, plan rates will return to normal.

To compare, Total Wireless (Review) offers unlimited plans beginning at $50/month for one line on Verizon’s network. Twigby (Review) offers an unlimited phone plan with 20GB of high-speed data for $35/month after a 3-month new customer offer ($25/month).
